Delivery Policy: Comfy Couch Company has established a relationship with a professional delivery service to provide you with first class home delivery by a bonded and insured professional moving service. Deliveries on in-stock merchandise will be arranged upon checkout. Deliveries on ordered items will be arranged once items arrive at our warehouse. The delivery contract is between the customer and our professional delivery partner. All deliveries must take place within (7) seven days of merchandise arriving to the Comfy Couch Warehouse. A storage charge of $10/day will be applied to any merchandise not scheduled for delivery within the (7) seven day period due to the customer not being available to receive deliveries. Comfy Couch Company thoroughly inspects each piece of new furniture before it leaves our loading dock and guarantees it to meet manufacturer acceptable standards. The delivery company will assume responsibility of your furniture once they place it on their delivery truck. When your new furniture is safely delivered and placed in your home, we asked that you thoroughly inspect it and your home for any damage made during the delivery. If there is an issue, please note it on the delivery receipt prior to signing acceptance of your furniture. If nothing is noted by the customer on the delivery receipt, it is assumed that your new furniture is in good condition and your home was not damaged during the delivery. Comfy Couch Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from the delivery. The delivery company is an insured professional delivery service and will take care of any claim. Delivery issues must be addressed with the delivery company. If your delivery issue is not resolved, please inform Comfy Couch Company and we will do everything in our power to assist you.

Pick-Up Policy: Buyer is responsible for inspecting all merchandise prior to loading and acknowledging receipt of merchandise in satisfactory condition before the product leaves the warehouse. Buyer is responsible for all assembly of merchandise after pick-up. Buyer accepts full responsibility for securing merchandise in or to their vehicle and must provide all pads, straps and ropes. Comfy Couch Company is not responsible for any damage to merchandise during customer transportation. Buyer is required to bring proper Identification and Original Sales receipt in order to pick-up merchandise. Merchandise must be picked up at warehouse within (7) seven days of being notified that merchandise is available for pick-up. A storage charge of $10/day will be applied to any merchandise not picked up within the (7) seven day period.

Service Policy: Comfy Couch Company strives to provide the best customer experience in the furniture retail business. We stand behind all of our products with exceptional service and warranty against manufacturer’s defects for one year from the date of purchase. Comfy Couch Company will supply Buyer with all manufacturer warranties. If Buyer picked up the merchandise, it is the Buyer’s responsibility to return items to the Comfy Couch Company Warehouse for service. Service will be provided for one (1) year from date of purchase, as long as parts are available from the manufacturer.

Upholstery - Dye lots on fabrics and swatches may differ in shade from the product actually delivered by the manufacturer. Due to various mill standards beyond our control, we cannot guarantee wearing ability, color fastness or shrinkage of any fabric used on our merchandise. (Some fabric manufacturers may warranty fabrics, in that case, Comfy Couch Company will service the merchandise in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty and direction) Comfy Couch Company is not responsible for any cleaning, dye lot variances, or piling of fabrics. Leather is a natural material; surface marks and variances in color show that the leather is genuine top grain. Comfy Couch Company cannot be responsible for these variances in leather.

Accessories – Carefully inspect all pictures, lamps, and accessories before you take them with you.

Natural Products - Marble, granite, slate, stone and solid wood are natural products and prone to variations in color, pattern, and density. We cannot be responsible for these natural variations.

The following are not covered under the Comfy Couch Company or manufacturers warranties: 1) Defects incurred from spills, abuse, misuse, negligence, or accidents. Damage from any type of chemical or dyes (including, but not limited to food, dyes, bleach, and ammonia). 2) Failure of finish resulting from heat marks, liquid damage, exposure to sunlight, household humidity, incorrect application or chemical treatment or protective coating. 3) Damage caused by fire, smoke, theft, explosion, flood, or natural disaster. Fabric fading or change caused by sunlight, wind, or weather. 4) Fabric fading, wrinkling, stretching, dye lot variations, color fastness, tears, rips, punctures, burns, flattening and crushing of naps, pilling, button popping, shrinking, heavy soiling or abuse. 5) Incidental or consequential damages, and normal wear and tear. 6) Absorption of body oils, perspiration or bodily fluids, blood, stains, or damage from any type of animal. 7) The use of this product for rental, commercial, or business, Institutions. 8) Any product upon inspection found in an unsanitary condition. 9) Expansion or contraction due to extreme variations in humidity. 10) One-only items can be serviced for 1 (one) year, but cannot be replace due to the nature of the purchase. Extended manufactures warranties that exceed one year will be subject to transportation and service fees.

Returns Policy: If Buyer does not feel that the stocked merchandise purchased is appropriate, it may be returned for reselection, credit, or refund within two (2) days after receipt of merchandise. To receive full credit, all returned merchandise must accompany the original sales receipt and must be in the same condition as when purchased, complete with accessories, instructions, original box, and packaging (if item was picked up). Merchandise not meeting these requirements may not be accepted for return, or will be assessed a restocking charge. This policy does not apply to Special Orders, Factory Direct Orders, As-Is purchases, or One-Only Purchases. See Special Order Policy and Factory Direct Policy below for return policy information.

There are NO returns or exchanges on As-Is Purchases and the Comfy Couch Company store service policy and warranty does not apply.

A One-Only purchase describes merchandise Comfy Couch Company will not carry again. There are NO returns or exchanges on “One-Only” Purchases. Comfy Couch Company will honor the Comfy Couch Company Service Policy defined in the Conditions of Sale for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

If Buyer requests to have Comfy Couch Company pick-up the merchandise from the home, Buyer will be charged for a pick-up fee equivalent to the normal delivery charge to their neighborhood, and the original delivery charge is non-refundable (if applicable). If Buyer returns the merchandise to the Comfy Couch Company, the original delivery fee is non-refundable. If Buyer reselects merchandise, Buyer will be charged a separate delivery fee on the new order in addition to the above fees (if applicable).

Miscellaneous labor fees such as set up, assembly charges and other fees are not refundable.

Once Fabric Protection and Leather Care has been purchased, the charge is non-refundable.

Ready to Assemble Furniture cannot be returned once the box has been opened

Mattresses and Box Springs cannot be returned for any reason except where Manufacturer Exclusions apply.

Special Order Policy: A Special Order is not displayed or stocked in a Comfy Couch Company store or warehouse. A Special Order is an item that is available in a different color, size or finish then what may be displayed in a Comfy Couch location. A Special Order cannot be cancelled. The Comfy Couch Company Return Policy does not apply to Special Orders. Manufacturer warranties do apply. Special orders must be paid in full before the order is placed with the manufacturer. Customers are given delivery estimates specific to the manufacturer of the merchandise they have purchased. These are ONLY estimates and subject to manufacturer delays of which Comfy Couch Co. cannot be held responsible for. Please allow up to 16 weeks for the arrival of your Special Order.

Please take accurate measurements before ordering. If your special order does not fit in your room or entryway it cannot be returned, as our manufacturers will not allow Special Order returns. Do not special order unless you are sure the item will fit through the entry way and in your room.

Factory Direct Policy: A Factory Direct item is not displayed or stocked in a Comfy Couch Company store or warehouse. Factory Direct items must be paid in full before the order is placed with the manufacturer. The Comfy Couch Company return policy does not apply to Factory Direct orders. Manufacturer warranties do apply. If a Factory Direct order is cancelled, a 25% restocking fee and freight charges will be assessed to the customer. Please allow an estimated 2-10 weeks for arrival of your Factory Direct order.
